What a Friend We Have in God~!
As you got up this morning, I watched you, and hoped you would talk to me, even if it was just a few words, asking my opinion or thanking me for something good that happened in your life yesterday. But I noticed you were too busy, trying to find the right outfit to wear.
When you ran around the house getting ready, I knew there would be a few minutes for you to stop and say hello, but you were to busy. At one point you had to wait fifteen minutes with nothing to do except sit in a chair. Then I saw you spring to your feet. I thought you wanted to talk to me but you ran to the phone and called a friend to get the latest gossip instead. I watched patiently all day long. With all our activities I guess you were too busy to say anything to me.
I noticed that before lunch you looked around, maybe you felt embarrassed to talk to me, that is why you didn't bow your head. You glanced three or four tables over and you noticed some of your friends talking to me briefly before they ate, but you didn't. That's okay. There is still more time left, and I hope that you will talk to me yet.
You went home and it seems as if you had lots of things to do. After a few of them were done, you turned on the TV. I don't know if you like TV or not, just about anything goes there and you spend a lot of time each day in front of it not thinking about anything, just enjoying the show. I waited patiently again as you watched the TV and ate your meal, but again you didn't talk to me.
Bedtime I guess you felt too tired. After you said goodnight to your family you plopped into bed and fell asleep in no time. That's okay because you may not realize that I am always there for you.. I've got patience, more than you will ever know.... I even want to teach you how to be patient with others as well.
I love you so much that I wait everyday for a nod, prayer or thought, or a thankful part of your heart. It is hard to have a one-sided conversation.
Well, you are getting up once again. Once again I will wait, with nothing but love for you. Hoping that today you will give me some time. Have a nice day!
Your friend, GOD
Yes, I do Love God. He is my source of existence and Savior. He keeps me functioning each and everyday. Without Him, I will be nothing. Without him, I am nothing; but with Him I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. (Phil 4:13)

Forget the Former Things; Do Not Dwell in the Past
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past." (Isaiah 43:18)
Today's Word You may be hurting and aching from your past, but take heart for God is with you! God wants to help you recover these things, as well as the lost years of blessings. In fact, His desire is to give them back to you in even greater abundance. No matter where you are today, no matter where you've been in the past, God wants to give you a new future filled with joy, fulfillment and abundance. God's power will help you break the chains of your past so you can face tomorrow anticipating His blessing and favor. Look ahead to the blessings He has for you, not back to any hurt or suffering that may be in the past. So if you're looking back today, turn around and start looking ahead.
A Prayer for TodayGod, help me to keep looking ahead to the exciting future You are preparing for me. Thank You for Your promise to heal the past. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Were is God in All This
Today my husband, son and I found out that are son is going to have to lose his leg due to the type of cancer he had about two years ago returning. It the moment I am still in this fog trying to see were God is, has he forgotten us, has he turned his back on us.
We have been praying and fasting but I still cannot see were God is in all this our daughter has continually told us that this is not the final say that God will show us that he is still in control, I am really trying to see God in all this but were is he, were has he gone I cannot see him or hear him right know.
God I need for you to show me that you are in all of this, I need to know that you have our back that our son does not have to go out like this were are you; please reveal yourself to us show us that there is a miracle working on our sons behalf - I need to know that you are in all of this Father.
The day that both our children were borne I give them back to you and you promise that you would protect them please God let me see were you are in all of this.

Trust
There are many times in life that something unexpected happens to us and in most cases we fall apart. We have placed a lot of our trust in man instead of God. Stephen was one of the seven that was appointed to be a deacon, he was a man that was full of the Holy Spirit and full of faith. Even when the Stephen was being stoned for telling the truth he trusted that God was with him and had not left him. If only we could have that some type of faith and trust that Stephen had in God, we would be in a much better place in our walk with God.
